From an early age, Charles learned from his father that “serious” music was not as expressive as it could be. George was always experimenting, trying to make new, more evocative sounds. In fact, many of Charles’s most daring compositional techniques came directly from his father’s experiments.

Great exercise. This interactive web tool proved to me just how difficult singing in a different key is to do out of the gate.
Having a copy of the singing part in front of you (original key of F) is a big help in staying on track once the off-key accompaniment is introduced.
